Summary -
St. V’s is a great facility to begin your career when it comes to gaining experience. It is a Trauma Level 1 so in x-ray you are able to experience so much more and learn in different areas there than at smaller hospitals. A negative there would be X-ray staffing, struggling to be fully staffed for years, consistently having open hours for people to work extra or get mandated hours to work. There’s also limited growth opportunities if you’re looking to move up in the ladder. However, I have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience throughout my years there that I know I would not have had at another facility near me.
