Summary -
I really enjoyed my time working X-ray at Methodist Hospital. The staff, management, and overall workflow were excellent—this is one of the few travel assignments I’ve been on where everything truly felt well-organized and dialed in.
The workload was very manageable and never felt overwhelming. Everyone in the department was consistently kind, supportive, and easy to work with, which made the assignment even better. I personally spent a lot of time in the OR, though some other travelers worked more in fluoro.
The department is well equipped, with Siemens and Fuji rooms, as well as Fuji and GE portables. I ended up extending my contract, and I would 100% recommend traveling here.
The hospital is run so well that after seven years of traveling, I ultimately signed on permanently in the CT department—which says a lot.
